Akhtar Furnishers has once again achieved a proud milestone by winning the First Prize for Best Pavilion at the 30th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) 2026. The award was presented at the official closing ceremony held on Saturday, 1 March 2026, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal, Dhaka.
The month-long fair brought together local and international businesses, creating a vibrant platform for trade, innovation, and customer engagement. This year’s event recorded an estimated export order of around BDT 224.26 crore and total sales of approximately BDT 393 crore, reflecting steady growth compared to previous years.
Among 40 awarded organizations across different categories, Akhtar Furnishers stood out for its exceptional pavilion design, product presentation, and overall customer experience. The company has a strong history of excellence at DITF and is well known for consistently setting high standards in both quality and design.
Led by Chairman Dr K. M. Akhtaruzzaman, Akhtar Furnishers continues to play a leading role in the furniture industry of Bangladesh. At this year’s fair, the company showcased a wide range of furniture, from classic Victorian-style collections to modern, sleek designs. Their display included elegant bed sets, dining tables, and sofas that attracted a large number of visitors throughout the fair.
